10 days

have again passed since my last post.  Should I give this up??

Here's what the kids were up to this morning.  My girl is well for now but the baby boy has a yucky cold & cough.  So pitiful to hear a little one with congestion.  Do you see a pattern here or is it just me?  How can one or the other of my kids be sick constantly?  I try so hard to feed them well.  Maybe I need to bump up the junk and see if that helps!!

She took a tumble down a couple steps at the Grandparents house (under my watch!) a week ago.  She's all healed up now though.

Have had a busy weekend of birthday parties.  Pool parties for 3 & 4 year olds.  I'm the nervous, overprotective one at the pool parties.  Is it just me or is the idea of a bunch of 3 & 4 year olds in the pool for a birthday party a bad idea?  Maybe it's just me, both passed without an incident....

No school this week, hoping to squeeze some fun activities in over the next few days.  Hope you do too!!

What's new

Well since my last post we've had a few things going on around here.  Most exciting was celebration the little girl's 3rd birthday.  We had 2 very fun parties, one for family and one for little friends!  We are still trying to beat this cold.  The baby boy got it, of course, but only has an infrequent runny nose.  My girl on the other hand has been left with a nasty cough.  Doesn't seem to bother her much, but it bugs me.  Since preschool started we have only been cold-free for one month out of the five so far - November.....   ARGHHHH.

Just tracked the last of the Super Bowl on the internet.  Must've been a pretty exciting game there towards the end.  We are a cable/satteliteless family and have been for over 3.5 years now.  I can't believe it!  I miss it at times, but thus far, not enough to cave.  We have plenty of tv as it is with ITunes (mostly for my girl) and weekend movie rentals.  Still, I must say now that I've thought of it, I don't know a single other family off the top of my head who doesn't have either cable or satellite.  When I do get a chance to watch it, my favorite shows are on the Food Network:  Everyday Italian and Barefoot Contessa.  I think EI may have changed to Giada at Home...

Well I hear that my hubby just arrived from a weekend off-island so I must sign off.
