lysol, hand washing, airborne....

Here we go again.  My girl started sneezing in the early hours of today.  She had breakfast before 6am and is now happily watching Dora on her ipod.  Her nose has been running with regularity since she got up.  Just in time for her birthday celebrations we have planned for tomorrow & Saturday.  ARGHHHHH.  Somehow I knew this was coming.

I'm starting to feel the delirium of 4 1/2 hours of sleep.

On a funny note, my girl is talking about guinea pigs all the time and what they do and do not do.  For example, she will ask me for some yogurt and then tell me that guinea pigs don't eat yogurt.  She likes to slip these comments in most when she is doing something she isn't supposed to be doing.  This is actually very effective as it distracts me from the issue at hand and usually makes me giggle.

Well I can see that the delirium is setting in on her now too - she just told me that Ming-Ming is nuts.  A comment that those with young children may understand.

The Ipod is no longer entertaining - so I better sign off.

Praying that I get through today.......

Yep, he can already stand up in the crib!

quick one

Well my babies are asleep and my computer has 17% battery left so this one will be quick!

We are getting back into our regular routine.  My girl is enjoying being back at school.  My boy has a new tooth and is really getting around!  One of his many nicknames is Scooter and it suits him perfectly.
Here's a really cute recent photo of my kids and their cousins.  Guess who didn't want their picture taken??  She IS a girl!

Happy 2009!

This is so exciting!

The one thing she asked for - a snowglobe!

Whew - well the holidays are over.  Now it's time to pack away all the decorations - anyone want to help?  That's getting to be more of a chore every year.

We had a great Christmas and a very quiet New Year - I was the only one awake at midnight.

Here are a few holiday photos to share.

Here's to a great year!!
